It’s on again!

Destination will be the Cafe opposite the pub, Huskisson with the route being through Jamberoo, Kiama bends, Berry, Nowra & onto Huskisson via Jervis Bay Rd.

Return trip will be discussed at breakfast.

This will be a relaxing, social occasion with all riders (& their families can drive down) being welcomed. It is a beautiful area for kids to swim & to walk around with a protected beach, playground & walking track in the park opposite.

March Social Event

Thought we might enjoy the outdoors again and for something different head north (and make the most of last of the Daylight Saving).

Date: Wednesday, 25 March
Time: 6:45-7ish
Place: Stanwell Park Beach Kiosk, Station St, Stanwell Park

This cafe is right on the park leading to the beach, plenty of parking - does meals, burgers, chips etc. There is a playground at the park.

If keen keep an eye out in the ride section someone may post a group ride to the cafe/takeaway.

Kangaroo Valley Loop - 22/3/09

Last year Illawarra riders & the Famous Robertson Pie shop combined to raise funds & sporting equipment for the Youth off the Streets charity.

R6 Mick helped through his work with the charity & we now have a date & time to donate the cheque & the equipment to the kids that need them.

Soooooooo what we require is to have as many members as possible to help deliver the goods..... actually you will all be there just to show that we care & enjoy the moment.

The day will consist of doing a ride loop through Kangaroo Valley, meeting again at the Robertson Pie Shop before riding together to the Youth of the Streets location at Suttons Forest. Tracey will be meeting us at the pieshop with a trailer load of goodies for the charity & will join us from there.

Mick will confirm but there may be a sausage sizzle upon arrival at our destination. Soooooo onto the details

Date - Sunday 22nd March
Time - Meet 8.45am
Depart - 9.00am
Location - Albion Park Macca's

Route - The usual KV loop, out through Jamberoo, Kiama bends, regather at Bomaderry holder dealership, over Camberwarra into Kangaroo Valley, up Barrengarry Mt, turn right onto Pearsons Lane & onto the Famous Robertson Pieshop.

And of course this ride will be very social & suitable for L & P platers

Well done to DZ for taking out January's Photo Of The Month. For those wondering about the pic, it was taken at a place called Shallow Crossing. It is the top end of the Clyde River which is the one you cross over just before Batemans Bay.
