MaxPower Performance Cycles BBQ Lunch & Bike Comp Writeup
Last Sunday, 27th November, MaxPower Performance Cycles at Bellambi held the first of what is hoped to be an annual event. A “Show and Shine” bike show and barbecue.
As a first attempt it was an outstanding success with the turn-out of bikes and riders far exceeding the expectations of the organisers and stretching the capacity of MaxPower’s car park to the absolute limit.
More than 60 bikes of all types were crowded in and prizes were awarded for the best looking bike in 3 categories.
BEST 600cc & Over - John Hagget with his TLR1000
BEST Cruiser - Brett Cooper with his YAMAHA ROADSTAR
BEST Under 600cc - Jake Young with his RGV250
The winners received a handsome trophy, a gift pack from Motul oils and a framed photograph of their bike from Flamin Dog Photography worth over $600.
It was a great afternoon with hours spent in a very convivial atmosphere, and with the raffle, conducted by Illawarra Riders, raising over $400 to go to our designated charity, Angel Flight.
Illawarra Riders would like to thank all their members and friends and family who attended and contributed in so many ways towards making the day a huge success.
